More than 11,000 youths in eastern Cuba unemployed

HAVANA, Cuba, October 13 (Ariel Delgado Covarrubias, UPECI / www.cubanet.org) - More than 11,000 youths in Pinar del Río province are unemployed and out of school, according to the official report issued after a meeting of the provincial Communist Party.

According to the report, the bulk of the unemployed are youths who have completed their military service and haven't been able to find jobs. The second group identified is made up of youths who have been released from jails and prisons.
