Varela Project activist and his mother harrassed

HAVANA, Jan. 26 (www.cubanet.org) - The mother of Varela Project activist José Enrique González Robira-Pelegrín says two men posing as supporters tried to distort the aims of the project in a visit to the home she shares with her son.

Celsa Robira-Pelegrín says as soon as she realized the pair were not legitimate supporters she ordered them off the property.

The visit came a week after another incident where two men who identified themselves as members of the Rapid Response Brigade allegedly beat her son.
