Wife of Cuban jailed dissident harassed because of visit by Czech delegation

HAVANA, Feb. 9 (www.cubanet.org) - Doralis Velásquez Falcón, wife of jailed labor dissident Héctor Raúl Valle Hernández, was ordered to report to the police after a group from Czecheslovakia visited with her to express solidarity.

Officers of State Security warned her that action would be taken if she continued pro civil rights activities.

Her husband, vice-president of the Confederation of Democratic Workers, was sentenced last year to 18 years imprisonment for his activities.
