Sign celebrating Saddam capture disrupts law school classes in Havana

HAVANA, December 15 (www.cubanet.org) - A home-made sign celebrating the capture of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein resulted in the disruption of classes at the University of Havana Law School December 15.

The sign, on which someone had written "All dictators will soon fall and we will be free" was posted inside lecture hall 234 A, said a student at the university, adding that the president of the university himself, Juan Vela, accompanied by about a dozen State Security agents showed up at the lecture hall and started investigating, questioning custodians and university security personnel.

All classes scheduled for the hall were suspended and security forces kept curious onlookers away.
