Two works of Cuban painters reported stolen

HAVANA, Dec. 5 (www.cubanet.org) - Two important Cuban paintings have been reported missing from the Antonia Eiriz art gallery in the San Miguel del Patron district of the capital.

The works, painted by the late artists Carlos Enriquez and Fidelio Ponce, are considered museum quality. The piece by Enriquez was titled "Felices Campesinos." Total value of the paintings was estimated at US$30,000.
