HAVANA, September 26 (Manuel David Orrio, CPI / www.cubanet.org) - A
homicide investigator of the Ministry of the Interior said two of the four
suspects in the August 30 multiple murders in Artemisa are in custody, with
ample evidence to demonstrate their guilt.
The investigator said money and blood-stained personal effects belonging to
the victims were found on the suspects. Also, he said, there was evidently a
struggle on the night of the murders, and at least one of the suspects was
wounded. "His blood condemns him," said the officer.
Five people were killed at the La Rosa farm, in the outskirts of Artemisa.
One of them, Osmel Martínez, was a former president of a Cuban fraternal
lodge.
