Spanish embassy opens its library to
Cubans
HAVANA, March 2 (www.cubanet.org) - The
Spanish embassy has opened its library to
all Cubans, who can obtain cards that allows
them take out books.
The decision by the embassy was considered
by Cubans to be a response to an order by
the Cuban government last September to turn
over operation of the Spanish Cultural Center
in Havana to Cuban officials.
