HAVANA, February 6 (Armando Soler / www.cubanet.org) Retirees trying to
collect their pensions in the first few days of February at the zone 5 post
office, in the 10 de Octubre municipality of Havana, found there was no cash to
pay them and no alternative arrangement for them to get paid.
Government regulations stipulate that pensioners must collect their pensions
at assigned locations. A later order on the 5th of the month authorized them to
get their money at a nearby bank.
