Unsanitary conditions in dental clinic

CIEGO DE ÁVILA, February 4 (Mirley Delgado, APLA / www.cubanet.org) - Health care personnel at the Ciego de Ávila dental clinic routinely clean their instruments by dipping them in a bucket of water, said one worker at the clinic.

The clinic, which provides service for more than 60 percent of the local population, has only been taking care of emergency cases for the last six months due to the deterioration of its equipment and water pipes.
