Cuban workers contract dengue fever abroad

HAVANA, August 27 (Juan Carlos Linares, Cuba-Verdad) - A group of doctors and paramedics have returned from a mission in Latin America with dengue fever, according to reports from the Pedro Kourí Insitute of Tropical Medicine, where they're interned.

A source at the institute said he was unable to specify the number of affected nor the country in which they served. There have been medical teams assigned to Venezuela and Guatemala. "This is almost a state secret," he said.
