Two brothers released from prison after
three years for insulting Fidel Castro
CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba, March 18 (Antonio

- Two human rights activists were released
from prison this week after three years
of imprisonment for insulting President
Fidel Castro, public disorder and resisting
arrest.
Brothers Antonio and Enrique García
Morejón were arrested March 2, 2002,
at the provincial hospital of Ciego de Avila
where they were protesting injuries suffered
to hospitalized independent journalist Jesús
Alvarez Castillo in an incident with a police
agent.
The brothers were released Monday from
the Ceramica Roja prison in Camaguey province.
