HAVANA, April 19 (Carmelo Díaz Fernández, APSIC) - Michel Valdés,
21, was shot and killed by Alexander Rodríguez with a .45 caliber handgun
that belonged to his recently-deceased father, an ex-Army man.
Valdés had been visiting Rodríguez home when he was
shot. The weapon, one of many given by the Cuban Army veterans association
to its members presumably to defend the Revolution, was supposed to have been
picked up by the group once Rodríguez father died on March 30.
