HAVANA, April 21 (María del Carmen Carro, UPECI) - Those who expected that hospital Julio Trigo in Havana was going to be spruced-up to receive a delegation from the Cape Verde islands were disappointed last week. Patients hoped hospital authorities would improve their food and
eradicate the flies that plague the facility. But everything remained the same. The foreign delegation only paid a quick visit to a contingent of Cape Verde medical students who are completing their practice at the Julio Trigo. The open dump that is a breeding ground for the flies is still open.
