HAVANA, April 17 (Israel Picallo Ortiz, CPI) - Officials who direct agricultural operations for the State have come up with a new method of branding cattle which can cause infections or even death in the livestock. The method consists of branding cattle with eight digits, which would identify animals as to ownership, municipality, province, lot and breed. Farmers are concerned that the excessive burns have resulted in infections and the death of some animals.
