HAVANA, April 4 (Gilberto Figueredo, APLC) - Managers at a tourist industry facility here threatened to fire any employees who had anything to do with independent journalist Manuel Antonio Brito López, director of the Independent Press Bureau of Cuba.
Rogelio González, the manager of the facility, last year had threatened to shoot Brito. "No one is going to throw me in jail for shooting a counterrevolutionary," he said at the time. González is a retired Major from the Ministry of the Interior. |
