LONDON, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Cuba has stepped up consultations with Paris Club
creditors about the possibility of unblocking stalled talks aimed at
rescheduling more than $10 billion of debt, the Financial Times said on Tuesday.
The paper reported that diplomats in Cuba believe the country was showing a
renewed willingness to reach a solution with the Paris Club.
The Financial Times said the latest discussions took place last week between
Cuba and Spanish foreign minister Abel Matutes in Havana.
