YOUNG CUBANS THANK HUNGARIAN'S
NON-ATTENDANCE TO YOUTH FESTIVAL IN HAVANA
The young members of the non-governmental center Jose de la Luz Caballero are thankful for the gesture of support for democracy in Cuba given by a great sector of Hungarian youth, upon their refusal to attend the XIII Youth and Student's Festival, which will take place in Havana, next August.
Young Cuban democrats are fully aware that those governing Cuba are trying to turn such a celebration of liberty and democracy into an event of support for its dictatorial regime. Therefore, we appeal to all young people of the world to follow the beautiful example set by our brothers in Hungary.
