300 books confiscated from independent library

HAVANA, January 24 (Ernesto Roque Cintero, UPECI / www.cubanet.org) - Political police raided the Rafael Díaz Balart independent library in the municipality of Guanabacoa last weekend and seized 300 books considered to be subversive.

The library's director, Vladimir Alejo Miranda, said the police entered his home where the books were shelved.
