Police confiscate 25 lbs. of cheese
SANTA CLARA, Cuba - May 31 (Karel Castillo,

- Two policemen confiscated 25 lbs of cheese
from a man named Linares May 23 in Santa
Clara. The man was apparently trying to
sell the cheese.
"I had spent a week trying to get
the cheese together so I could make a few
bucks," said Linares, adding that police
also imposed a 100-peso fine.
The price of milk has increased lately
due to scarcity provoked by the ongoing
drought.
