MORON, marzo (Jose Manuel Caraballo,www.cubanet.org) - The Spanish language
dictionary defines traitor as a person who violates an oath, breaks a faith that
has been sworn and also who serves the enemy against the motherland.
The independent journalists clearly could never be considered in that
category. The press and the government in any country are natural "adversaries"
that fulfill diferent functions and are obligated to respect each other.
To call a traitor somebody who reveals the hidden and censor's truth, is a
task of serviles, is crawling to the dictator, to the rulers's feet, specialy
when the accused is empeled to answer back.
To get pay for your work as a journalist is legal, is an old established
rule; the autors copyright is an international commom law.
Blissful the ones that carry in their leeps and fingers the impartial word;
without them the societies will stanch in the stillness that paralyze and kill.
Blissful the ones that fight pacificly for their people's right, incarnating the
highest ideals of humanity.
The people that want to leave the things the way they are -opposing every
thing that means renovation and progress- are the real enemies and traitors to
their countries.
