HAVANA, March 24 (José Antonio Fornaris, Cuba-Verdad /
www.cubanet.org) - Independent journalist María Elena Rodríguez
charges a break-in at her home last Friday was related to the wave of arrests
and home searches carried out against other independent journalists.
Rodríguez said someone broke down the front door between 10:30 a.m.
and 2:00 p.m. and took her tape recorder, a telephone, a lamp and most of her
clothes.
