HAVANA, March 11 (José Antono Fornaris, Cuba-Verdad / www.cubanet.org) - A serious fire broke out Sunday in a warehouse belonging to the Cuban armed forces in Managua, a town 20 miles south of Havana.

The fire started at about 11:00 a.m. and was finally put out five hours later. According to eye witnesses, nine fire trucks and more than 20 tank trucks responded. Also, they said, hundreds of military personnel in the area were mobilized, as well as a helicopter which was used to take out rolls of electric wire, paint tanks, and mattresses.
