Students Barred From Exams

HAVANA, February 17 (Grupo de Trabajo Decoro) - Students attending Basic Secondary Schools in the Countryside and tech schools for the Sugar Industry and for Veterinary Science in Pinar del Río, Cuba's westernmost province, will not be allowed to take exams unless they have attended mass demonstrations in favor of the return of rafter boy Elián González.

In like fashion, failure to attend the political acts will affect their elegibility for weekend passes and family visits, according to Judith Gómez, of the independent Teachers' Association.
